They do not deliver but have good take out business
Don't know for sure. Agree with Keith.
This place is a hidden gem. To pass it on the road, you would never look twice but believe me there is magic going on inside if you love Thai food! My entire office loves this place for 1. the delicious Thai menu and 2. you can't beat the price. The lunch menu is quite affordable, service is friendly and efficient, and the food is delicious. I love spicy food and this place can deliver the heat. Well worth the drive to Mechanicsville.
I have eaten here for well over a decade, and they continue to be amazing. Flavors fresh as the garden on their front porch. My favorites are the drunken noodles, green curry, Massaman curry, fried tofu, and, of course, the eponymous Pad Thai. I order everything mild, and it is still quite flavorful.
Very very good. You will not regret going to this restaurant. Just be cautious that the "hot" level is very spicy. I ordered the drunken noodles and they were so delicious. The curry dishes are amazing as well.
I celebrated my PhD last night in this gorgeous place. Well we enjoyed a sensational evening and the venue was clearly the reason for this strong event. The team cooperated in a pleasant way, the meals were tasty and my friends were extremely overjoyed. We shall definitely come back again for more celebrations. thanks very much.
Consistent flavor, warm atmosphere. Our comfort, food. We love the Pad See Ew with tofu.
This place is good.i highly recommend the coconut and chicken soup ,,,,,also paid thai and chicken fried rice medium spice level is good! Give it a try it's worth the trip.i go once a week
Really good Thai food. The shrimp drunken noodles were exactly what I hoped they'd taste like. Very similar to this really good place I used to go to when living in NM. My brother raves about them all the time and eats there often.
Fantastic Family-run Thai. Most of the people who came in while we ate were regulars and the owner was very thoughtful. Did was absolutely fantastic!
2017-10-03 nice people and nice small restaurant, people stop in and carryout, we sat inside and it was quiet, not busy, the appetizers (spring roll and steamed dumplings), sweet and sour (beef and vegetables) and panang curry chicken were so good! I didn't really care for the Thai fried rice though. This is a place that I recommend and want to come back to, when in the area. The panang curry chicken has so much chicken and I love that! Would be nice to have more vegetables in the panang curry.
This place a certainly a Richmond staple. Food is usually awesome but has become more of a miss than a hit recently. Restaurant is located in an unsuspecting place. Family owed and not much has changed with restaurant aesthetically. This place could really do well in a more modern location or even renovation would help.
Looks can be deceiving and never judge a book by its cover. Upon arrival, I was not at all impressed by the looks of the place. The food was absolutely delicious and very flavorful!!! I will definitely be revisiting!!!
The outside needs a new sign but don't let that stop you. This place makes amazing, high quality, yummy food. With plants all around their shop, it's clean that atleast some of the ingredients are grown right there on site. Definitely will be ordering from there again! And lunch special is alot of food for a great price and fast friendly service :)
A simple, small place. The waitress was quick to seat us and bring drinks over. The place was moderately busy for a lunch hour, with many sliding thru for pick up orders. We ordered the lunch special 1 and 13. Both were great but the Drunken Noodle was on point! By far the hottest dish in Mechanicsville! This place is the only place for spicy and Thai north of Henrico.
This is my favorite Thai restaurant in Richmond. Make sure you get their amazing spring rolls!
When I got there is was closed. It has too sensitive hours.
Awesome!!! OMG this place amazing. I had the Tom kha gai and larb both were so flavorful. Can't wait to go back
A hidden gem! Wonderful service and excellent food!! It was our first time eating here and our family absolutely loved it! We will DEFINITELY be returning🍜🍜🥟🍚
Traveling on business and saw the good ratings, so thought I'd stop here for dinner. It was awesome! A small little hole in the wall that you might pass if you blinked. But I'm glad I didn't miss it. I ordered the mussamun Curry beef and it was excellent. Beware though if you like hot stuff. I always order everything as hot as they will make it, and this place had hot, extra hot, and Thai hot. Of course I ordered the Thai hot, and I almost met my match! That stuff lit me up and I was eye watering nose running goodness. I'll definitely remember this place when I'm back in town.
Very good food. The spice range tends to be on the hot/spicy side. If you have never visited before, I would recommend going one star lower until you learn their heat ranges. Parking can be challenging.
Of all the thai places I've been I will never go back here again
Best thai food - seriously- in all of Richmond. Asian people agree
Delicious food, family owned. The peppers in the food are grown right outside in the summertime.
Great place to get authentic thai. Don't judge this place from the outside. This place starts to get pretty busy after 6pm, they have a huge take out business as well with a steady stream of people in and out. Staff were very nice and helpful and service was on point. Would definitely go back. We were looking forward to trying the sticky rice and mango but they were sold out by 5:30pm. Will definitely be back.
Outstanding! Have never been, but will certainly go back. Service was great and food was wonderful, flavorful. Favorite new place for us!!!
Was an excellent lunch, perfect spice and great prices. Everything I was looking for, don't let the location fool you.
I don't know how they do it. Unfussy, Unpretentious, SUPER Affordable, Flavorful, and Consistent. In the middle of nowhere! Definitely worth spending your bucks here, and they have a killer good lunch deal for dining in.
Good price for a pretty tasty lunch, maybe a little on the salty side. On par with many local Thai places (Chadar comes to mind). Very cozy, family run restaurant with friendly service. Panang Curry wasn't on the lunch menu which was a little disappointing, but you're able to order off the dinner menu.
Best Thai Food in town. Always Fresh Ingredients. Flavor tsunami
Awesome food, good service in a humble unpretentious setting.
I've been eating at this establishment for years. It never disappoints. Very fresh ingredients, including chile's they grow outside. Can't beat it!
Chicken pad thai is my go to. I've had it at lunch time and at dinner time for both takeout and eating in. Lunchtime is always better, I've been told by my work colleagues it is because the owner makes it during that time.
This was my first time here and I will say that I was impressed (and I didn't expect to be). The building is a absolute dive and that is what kept me away. I finally tried it for a lunch, however, and my opinion started changing as soon as I got out of the car. I have been on a search for curry that is actually spicy. No restaurant in the area makes it with any actual heat. When I saw the fantastic pepper garden, I knew I was on the right track (see pictures). Communication is hit and miss depending on who you speak to in the restaurant. Though the outisde is a dump, the inside seemed very clean and presentable. I absolutely enjoyed the curry and will return to try other dishes. There were a couple of things that I wondered about. The fried wontons were exactly that...fried wonton wrappers. The amount of filling inside was seriously about a 1/3 of a dime in size. This struck me as odd. Also, the curry was very liquidy (but the taste was good and the heat was spot on).
I love this place. My go to meal is the Duck Curry. I have never been disappointed here.
Had the best food and service tonight. Thank you.
Dinner out with the hubs. 3 apps and 2 entrees. In/out in 20 minutes for dine in. As always food was fabulous!!!
Just passing through and exceeded my expectations. Red curry was delicious. Will have to come again next time am this way.
A charming eatery with excellent flavors and polite, fast service.
Exceptional food! I love Thai food and I love this place! Really great ownership, prices, and delicious food. The crispy fried duck medium spice is the best.
This place is amazing. They grow their own chili peppers on site and the overall quality of the food shows. This is by far our families favorite Thai restaurant. We absolutely love it.
Everything we have eaten there has been great. Healthy with fresh vegetables.
This restaurant has the best Thai food I've had in the area, hands-down! The prices are very reasonable, too. The staff is friendly and there are several gluten free options (last I checked, they're not labeled on the menu, but the staff generally knows what is gluten free and I've never gotten sick from any of their recommendations). If you're in the mood for dessert, the sweet sticky rice is absolutely delicious.
Outstanding food at good prices compared to similar restaurants. I've been eating here for years and I have never been disappointed.
The drunken noodles, crispy duck, spring rolls and of course the Pad Thai are all scrumptious! Adjust your level of heat and if you chili heads want an endorphin rush order your dish "Thai Hot" then add a splash of their homemade Thai chili hot sauce. You won't be disappointed but beware it's not for the faint of heart!
Best thai restaurant in Richmond hands down. It's a bit of a hole in the wall place, but has been consistent for the 10 years I have been going. They grow their own herbs and peppers. I was hard pressed in my 2 visits to Thailand to find Thai food better than theirs!
I love Pad Thai! Good food and warm people.
The yellow curry was great, but their pad thai was simply amazing - hands down the best pad thai I've ever had. I'll definitely be back soon!
Best Thai food I have ever eaten, including places in LA, Miami, and NYC. Try the red curry!
This place is cozy with a friendly staff. Food is AMAZING!! I live it and recommend it to everyone. It's not fancy or fussy rather comfortable and home like.
Amazing place! Very friendly staff. Drunken noodles are incredibly addicting. Everything my girlfriend and I have tried has been FANTASTIC. You want to eat here!
Best Thai restaurant hands down in the Mechanicsville area!
